Brief
As this was a supply and install project, the biggest issue was trying to adapt to their program. For example, doors arrived but out of sequence with the site program. In addition, we discovered many frames that required electric strikes (that were not specified in the beginning) and some faulty door closers and door hinges.

Solutions
We performed a site inspection and found the cause for the failing closers and hinges. Other trades were pulling the door closers apart to keep the doors open, damaging the hinges as doors were being forced back further than the allocated allowance.
We communicated to the client which doors we could use and advised their company managers which doors would require reordering. We also supplied strike patch kits for the frames prepped for electric strikes to help resolve this issue and keep the cost down.

Results
To ensure trades knew to avoid this in the future, we wrote up an official report including pictures and videos of before and after the repair.
