John Barnes Group proudly celebrated 60 years in business in July 2026. For six decades, our growth and success have been built on hard work, industry knowledge, strong relationships and the continued support of our staff, customers, suppliers and business partners.
Our 60th Celebration
In July 2026, John Barnes Group proudly celebrated the milestone of 60 years in business. To mark the occasion, we welcomed our staff and their families, valued suppliers and some of our closest customers aboard YOT for a memorable evening on the Brisbane River.
The celebration gave us the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day business, spend time with familiar faces and recognise the people and relationships that have helped shape John Barnes Group over the past six decades.
Guests enjoyed an evening of food, drinks and entertainment, with roulette and blackjack tables bringing plenty of friendly competition aboard YOT. The night concluded with a spectacular fireworks display on the Brisbane River in front of The Star Brisbane, providing a fitting finale to such an important celebration.
