About the Project

  • Brief

John Barnes Group was engaged to supply the architectural door hardware package for the new National Rugby Training Centre.

The project included several specialised requirements, including custom pull handles and concealed hinges for selected door applications. The scope also evolved throughout construction, with changes arising from revised architectural documentation, project variations and client instructions.

  • Solutions

Our team coordinated the required hardware package and sourced suitable products to meet both the architectural intent and functional requirements of the project.

Custom pull handles were arranged to suit the nominated applications, while concealed hinge systems were selected for doors requiring a clean, streamlined finish.

As the project developed, we responded to variations by updating quantities, specifications and hardware selections to reflect the latest approved information.

  • Result

John Barnes Group delivered a complete and carefully coordinated door hardware package incorporating custom pull handles, concealed hinges and the broader scheduled hardware requirements.

The final result was a detailed and accurate hardware schedule, with all required products successfully supplied and installed in line with the completed project documentation.
