Celebrating Six Decades of John Barnes Group
July 2026 marked a very special milestone for John Barnes Group as we proudly celebrated 60 years in business.
To commemorate six decades of John Barnes Group, we welcomed our staff and their families, valued suppliers and some of our closest customers aboard YOT for a memorable evening on the Brisbane River.
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring together many of the people who have contributed to our journey and celebrate such an important milestone.
A Night to Remember
The evening was all about enjoying good company, great entertainment and celebrating the relationships that have been built over many years.
Guests were able to try their luck at the roulette and blackjack tables, bringing plenty of friendly competition and a little casino atmosphere aboard YOT.
Between the games, food, drinks and entertainment, there was plenty of time to catch up with familiar faces, socialise and enjoy the occasion.
The evening finished in spectacular fashion with a fireworks display on the Brisbane River in front of The Star Brisbane, providing the perfect finale to our 60th anniversary celebration.
Celebrating the People Behind the Business
Reaching 60 years in business is something we are incredibly proud of, but it would not have been possible without the people who have supported John Barnes Group along the way.
Our staff have always played a central role in the business, and it was particularly special to have their families join us for the celebration.
We were also pleased to share the evening with many of our valued suppliers and customers, including long-standing partners who have worked alongside John Barnes Group for many years.
The night gave us the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day business and recognise the people and relationships that have helped shape John Barnes Group over the past six decades.
